An international joint central decision-making and administrative board (MKYK) has been established within the “Overseas Turkish Karate Federation (YTKF)”! As part of bilateral talks between İlhan Değirmenci, founding president of the Overseas Turkish Karate Federation (YTKF), and Eyüp Zafer Gökbilen, founding president of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), the “International Joint Central Decision-Making and Executive Board (MInnerhalb des YTKF, internationales MKYKKYK)” was established within the YTKF.
Öykü Ergin, Ferhat Jorayev, Melek Ünver, Şakir Yağızsoy, and Esef Karataş from the TRNC Karate Federation also participated in the International Joint Central Decision-Making and Executive Board (MKYK) established within the YTKF. Additionally, Öykü Ergin was elected as YTKF Vice President, Esef Karataş was elected as YTKF Central Referee Board, Melek Ünver as Women’s Branch Board, and Ferhat Jorayev and Şakir Yağızsoy as MKYK.
