Negotiations are rapidly progressing between the Swedish Karate Federation and the Turkish Karate Federation Abroad (YTKF) to become sister federations! Mr. Ali Can, the Swedish Coordinator of the Turkish Karate Federation Abroad (YTKF), held his first meeting with Mr. Sadık Sadık, President of the Swedish Karate Federation, on July 25, 2025. Following a phone call with Mr. Sadık the other day (October 9, 2025), he shared the good news with the YTKF.
The issue of the Turkish Karate Federation Abroad (YTKF) and the Swedish Karate Federation becoming sister federations will be discussed as an agenda item at the upcoming board meeting of the Swedish Karate Federation.
As the YTKF board, we thank Ali Can for his continued commitment to this important endeavor and wish him continued success in his endeavors.
