BROTHERS MET, SIGNED! TKF-YTKF 10.04.2025 Kocaeli Meeting. The Turkish Karate Federation (TKF) and the Turks Abroad Karate Federation (YTKF), along with the Federation Presidents Ercument Tasdemir and Ilhan Degirmenci, and the Federation Boards of Directors, met at the Junior Turkish Karate Championship held in Kocaeli on April 10, 2025.
The main agenda item of the meeting was; The comprehensive “MEMORIAL OF UNITY”, which established the recognition of the Turks Abroad Karate Federation (YTKF) as a “Sister Federation” by the Turkish Karate Federation (TKF), a federation closely connected to Turkish Karate, was signed by the President of the Turkish Karate Federation, Mr. Ercüment Taşdemir; Vice President for International Relations, Ömer Habeş; President of the Turks Abroad Karate Federation, İlhan Değirmenci; and Vice President, İsmail Koldere.
At the meeting, the roadmaps for the work to be carried out as two sister federations in the coming period were determined.
“As sister federations, we are embarking on this journey with the self-confidence derived from this comprehensive partnership.” I extend my sincere gratitude to the Presidents of the Turkish Karate Federation, Mr. Ercüment Taşdemir; Vice President for International Relations, Ömer Habeş; and Hayrettin Hamurcu; as well as to the esteemed team on the TKF Board of Directors for their contributions to this partnership.
