İlhan Değirmenci’s Period at YTKF.

Mr. İlhan Değirmenci, who was the Founding General President of the Karate Federation of Turks Abroad (YTKF) between 2013 and 2019, was re-elected as the President at the General Assembly of YTKF, headquartered in Germany, held in Cologne on 19.01.2025. In 2013, Mr. Değirmenci brought together Turkish sports clubs practicing Karate in many countries outside of Türkiye with great devotion and extraordinary effort to ensure the unity and solidarity of our Turkish Athletes and to bring our successful athletes to the Turkish National Teams, and established the Karate Federation of Turks Abroad (YTKF).

Değirmenci, who resigned from his position as the Founding General President of the ”Turks Abroad Karate Federation (YTKF)”, which is the first sports federation established outside of Türkiye in 2013, in 2019, continued his duty as the Honorary President.

Mr. Değirmenci, who was re-elected as the General President of the Turks Abroad Karate Federation (YTKF) by a majority vote at the Congress held in Cologne, Germany on 19.01.2025, made the following statement to the public, ”With the joy and excitement of doing this honorable duty again, I will work with all my efforts to protect the unity and solidarity of Turkish sports abroad, to bring our successful athletes to the Turkish National Teams and to make YTKF an even stronger federation abroad, I wish the new era of YTKF to be beneficial and auspicious for Turkish Karate.”
